Another bluesky bookbuy. The Heart of Winter by Shona Kinsella. I had my eye on it for a while. The cover stood out, so did the setting. I loved it. It probably came across my radar by way of @runalongwomble.bsky.social along with The Daughters of Nicnevin, which I also got but have not read. (35/?)

I'm reading The Everlasting by Alix E. Harrow and I have a feeling this book is going to break my heart (complementary).

Good morning! I'm reading The Heart of Winter by Shona Kinsella, which feels appropriate given what I've woken up to in the yard.

Ooh, baffins were a good choice! I've had mine for about 8 years now and they're still keeping my feet warm and dry.

It makes me think of the Band of Horses p3 live sessions cover but I think that's probably just similar and not the right one

Good morning! I've finished my reread of The Two Towers, so I think today might finally be the day I crack open The Everlasting by Alix E. Harrow.

Hope you enjoy The Dragonfly Gambit, it was one of my favourite reads last year!
