Microsoft has said that docked experience improvements are coming. I think it needs joystick mouse toggle at a minimum.

This is my experience with the white $600 Xbox Ally, not the black $1,000 Xbox Ally X, which had fewer sleep issues for me.
But it hasn't been immune. I, and others, occasionally see the black one won't wake up and needs to be force-reset.
And it gets a Bazzite performance boost, too.

I was definitely a Palm user in that era for a reason! Was a little jealous of some things,tho.

I spent two weeks badgering Microsoft and Asus about the white Ally's faulty sleep mode.
Bazzite, too, initially had issues getting it to sleep. But a single developer, with assist from AMD, fixed sleep in two days.

I bought Hallmark’s light-and-sound Xbox 360 Christmas ornament and here it is.
