But I am a persistence hunter, and I have just managed to acquire Phantasmal Flames ETBs for both boys, at retail price! I am triumphant, and they will once again have a good nerd side of their holiday.

This year, they both asked for Pokemon cards. And as anyone who is or knows a Pokemon player can tell you, thanks to the scalpers, getting Pokemon cards is currently hell.

I got the older boy his first DM's Guide, and the younger his first just-for-him dice. They're great kids, and I love being in a position to help them have good holidays.

They no longer need massive donations of Magic cards, so every year now, I ask them what they want for Hogswatch. I've gotten to snag some awesome nerd firsts that their mom didn't know existed, so I wasn't stealing them from her.

Originally, my mom asked me if I could get them some Magic cards. I rallied my local Magic community, and got them so many cards they were able to play with their grandmother before she died. Older, simpler cards were a godsend.

I have a DDR Extreme Mix 2 cab! Her name is Baby.

Also I got a new dress in the mail today (new from eBay, as one does), so I looked mad cute while bouncing wildly!
