I turned 40 this week. I got the usual messages from old friends, but two people in particular took the time to really show me how much they care.
It surprised me and it's nice to have people like that in your life

I'm the same, love making my own dough but when I don't have the energy I'll do store bought. I'll still get my oven barely warm and warm it for a few hours, just to feel like I've put in some extra effort

Totally agree. The Sens have always drafted so well, they develop goalies and defence right. In the Melnyk/Karlsson years it felt like they would always be on the cusp of a great team then sell off every bit of surplus value to keep them middling

My business gets paid in cash and it's a huge pain in the ass. It's a security risk, extra steps in bookkeeping, annoying to have to visit the bank every few days, but the worst part is THE BANK CHARGES A FEE TO DEPOSIT CASH. I hate them for it. And it's double if I do it in person with a teller
