Have always loved this video even though I'm quoted in it myself, in a manner which suggests I sincerely meant this statement as a horrified critique.

This article is a perfect example of a gag so obvious you can't believe no one's done it before, but which is also so well executed that my only complaint is that it's not ten times longer. A true Christmas treat.

As Christmas draws near, I can confirm that one very good gift would be my excellent and award-winning memoir, Did Ye Hear Mammy Died, which is much, much funnier than its title makes it sound.

Here's a little taste, featuring the joys of Christmas with ten siblings.

Is this seat that looks like it has a Derry accent conscious? Many users feel they're talking to a real person, perhaps one of your da's mates saying "Did ye aye mucker, right enough?". Scientists say it's time to consider whether they're onto something.

In April, I wondered what a trans toilet ban might look like in practice. Trans people and their cis women allies have been sounding these alarms for years. It now seems clear that the UK government took all these dire warnings as policy proposals.

I guess one difference between me and Elon Musk is that, if I was gaming an AI to say these things about me, and everyone could see that I had done this, I'd have simply no choice but to set myself on fire.

Looking at any US government account now is like having to spend a torturous evening with an odd cousin. All this internet-boiled freak shit; always annoying, usually racist and far too often just so confusing and boring you feel like there's no escape.

So it turns out Lizza writes like this too. Aside from the "everything else" of it all, what is it about this story that makes everyone involved start clacking at their typewriters like they're Garth fucking Marenghi.
