Not to mention, she's an opportunist. If she starts distancing herself from Trump, it means that she thinks the winds have changed and it's no longer in her best interest to be tied to him.
Hopefully, she's just the first rat to abandon a sinking ship, but I won't get my hopes up too much.

The important takeaway is not whether MTG has been redeemed. She hasn't. She's still a nut.
That said, MTG has publicly split from Trump. This is a big deal. Now that she has done it, others will find it easier to do so. Trump's base of support is fracturing.
