It's real important, clearly, that we are policed at the mega strike in Ōtepoti. Imagine deciding that teachers, nurses, doctors, firefighters, education and health support staff require police supervision just cos it's a strike.

Yesterday I spoke at PADA's Parliamentary Breakfast for perinatal mental health. It was such a treat! To have government ministers right in front of us as we detailed gaps in service provision that risk too many of our lives after we have our babies, an absolute privilege and honour.

I feel like I'm giving in to the way that the state systemically disempowers people in my position by this, but I'm so exceptionally demanded out.
A kid told me to sit down and I had to walk away bc I was so overwhelmed by getting just one more demand.
The pressing need in our society is too huge.
