Hierarchy. The former Honduran president has wealth and prestige. That puts him in the high caste, above the law. Meanwhile, the college student was a normie and foreigner, unknown, therefore low caste, subject to the law.

Like sure "you can talk to the computer and it does stuff"is appealing since that's Star Trek and we want to live in Star Trek. But "you can talk to the computer and then it lies to you" is 2001: A Space Odyssey and we don't really want to live in that.

Exactly. Parents - if you believe a book is negatively influencing your child's values, have a conversation with them about the contents. Or don't take it home from the library. But you don't get to tell me MY child can't read it.

This is pretty basic and can be equally applied Left and Right.

To be fair, the rich just think you're supposed to get months at a time off, but feel no need to call it "vacation". These people do "business" on golf courses while getting drunk, for goodness sakes.
