Coming down to the last race, and the limbo of a potential penalty, nearly killed me, but stoked that Lando took this years Driver’s Championship on top of McLaren already securing the Constructors months ago. Incredible year for papaya fans.

To no surprise, my number one most watched YouTube channel is @kindafunnyvids.bsky.social once again. Also had to laugh that my number two was Blue Turtle, the channel my D&D group uses most of the time for music during our remote play sessions.

Pokémon Legends Z-A was my airplane game on my recent trip to Korea, and I loved it. Still gonna dip into the endgame content, but the shift to real-time content is great, and the zany characters and side missions basically make this a Yakuza style game.

I was just in Korea and they had claw machines with prizes that were stuffed versions of those.

Randomly I arrived in Busan today, where the Horizon MMORPG was announced at the local G-Star Global Game Exhibition. Only found out about it and looked into tickets. Could go tomorrow, but sounds like people camped overnight and lines were 5hrs to play a game. Not as easy as when I went to TGS!

Randomly I arrived in Busan today, where the Horizon MMORPG was announced at the local G-Star Global Game Exhibition. Only found out about it and looked into tickets. Could go tomorrow, but sounds like people camped overnight and lines were 5hrs to play a game. Not as easy as when I went to TGS!

One feature I loved about my Steam Deck was Chiaki to remote play my PS5, but the ROG Xbox Ally X being on Windows opens up way more options. Saw PXPlay recommended, and even with a $15 price, it’s so much better than Chiaki ever was. Incredible streaming performance.

Was excited for the power upgrade, but nervous going from the ease of use and OLED display on the Steam Deck. Definitely more tinkering required, but now that I’m dialed in, I’m loving the ROG Xbox Ally X. The extra juice shows, and I’ll gladly take the 1080p screen over the 800p, even without OLED.

In a very crowded year for games, Keeper is very good and worth your time. And it’s gorgeous.

Finished Ghost of Yotei tonight. Loved it all around, from exploration to combat to the story and world. And again, it's just insanely stunning.

Really digging Ghost of Yotei. Love that they doubled down on the exploration of Tsushima. And this game is absurdly good looking on my PS5 Pro.

Finally watched The Handmaid’s Tale, and I don’t think I’ve ever hate watched a show this much. It’s awful. Elizabeth Moss’ character may be the worst lead of all-time. Every action is fueled by what produces drama, disregarding the horrific circumstances. No one makes a logical choice, ever.

Played though the standalone expansion to RoboCop: Rogue City — Unfinished Business — over the weekend, and despite being a buggier experience than the main game it’s still a ton of fun and outrageously violent and over-the-top.

Just played through Batman: Arkham Origins for the first time, and while it's not as amazing as the "mainline" Arkham trilogy, I think it's much better than the sentiment was upon release. It does a great job intro-ing Batman to a ton of villains, and even the Freeze DLC is decent.
