To no surprise, my number one most watched YouTube channel is @kindafunnyvids.bsky.social once again. Also had to laugh that my number two was Blue Turtle, the channel my D&D group uses most of the time for music during our remote play sessions.

Watched Man Finds Tape tonight and loved it. Randomly had watched Shelby Oaks last night and it has a lot of similarities, but Man Finds Tape just nails the execution better at every moment. And shoutout to the @timbuel.bsky.social sequence! Knew it was his touch the moment it began.

Pokémon Legends Z-A was my airplane game on my recent trip to Korea, and I loved it. Still gonna dip into the endgame content, but the shift to real-time content is great, and the zany characters and side missions basically make this a Yakuza style game.

I don’t know about playing on mobile, but the trailer for this looks pretty incredible, and I recently upgraded to a pretty beefy PC, so I’ll jump in there. This is gonna eat a ton of time.

I don’t know about playing on mobile, but the trailer for this looks pretty incredible, and I recently upgraded to a pretty beefy PC, so I’ll jump in there. This is gonna eat a ton of time.

I’m super stoked for this remake, but it’s so wild (and smart) that it’s coming to PS5. Can’t wait to see what the new levels are, and to play through the campaign in co-op (but on Xbox or PC as god intended).

I’m super stoked for this remake, but it’s so wild (and smart) that it’s coming to PS5. Can’t wait to see what the new levels are, and to play through the campaign in co-op (but on Xbox or PC as god intended).
Was excited for the power upgrade, but nervous going from the ease of use and OLED display on the Steam Deck. Definitely more tinkering required, but now that I’m dialed in, I’m loving the ROG Xbox Ally X. The extra juice shows, and I’ll gladly take the 1080p screen over the 800p, even without OLED.

Silent Hill 2 was a list of shame game for me for so long, and I finally corrected that when the remake came out, which is amazing. Jump on playing this if you have PS+.

Really digging Ghost of Yotei. Love that they doubled down on the exploration of Tsushima. And this game is absurdly good looking on my PS5 Pro.

I love seeing remastered 4K transfers of older films, but man the new 4K version of Tron is kind of incredible. The special effects are of course almost laughably dated, but everything else is stunning.

I’ve been wanting to replay Psychonauts 2 for a while, as well as viewfinder. Gonna platinum both of these next month.

I’ve been wanting to replay Psychonauts 2 for a while, as well as viewfinder. Gonna platinum both of these next month.
Finally watched The Handmaid’s Tale, and I don’t think I’ve ever hate watched a show this much. It’s awful. Elizabeth Moss’ character may be the worst lead of all-time. Every action is fueled by what produces drama, disregarding the horrific circumstances. No one makes a logical choice, ever.

Finished Mafia: The Old Country, and can’t help but be disappointed in it. Story is generic despite some great performances, and the “Old Country” world design and map is awesome but since it’s a linear campaign, the free roam mode is just a collect-a-thon. Final chapter of the game is also a bust.

Just played through Dead Take in one sitting, and man this year has some banger games. Insane to be able to run through that while simultaneously playing DK Bananza and cleaning up the post-game of Death Stranding 2.

Played though the standalone expansion to RoboCop: Rogue City — Unfinished Business — over the weekend, and despite being a buggier experience than the main game it’s still a ton of fun and outrageously violent and over-the-top.

Between KPop Demon Hunters and Predator: Killer of Killers, streamers are dominating the best animated movies of this year. Would’ve loved to see both of those on the big screen.
