I don't see it mentioned enough that Palantirs in LoTR were corrupted by Sauron for pure evil purposes. These bros read a book (or didn't) that couldn't be more clear in its good/evil dichotomy and chose to name their company after a powerful tool of the evil guy. Pretty much all you need to know.

It's also insulting bc many of these same people are ignoring the fact that ice is *already here* abducting people, just on a quieter scale, and only a small group of people are doing anything about it.
Not to sound like kind of an angry person at the moment, but all of the Philly folks being like we would do this differently. What exactly are we Minnesotans supposed to be doing differently? People are putting their bodies on the line against the full force of the federal government.
