Okay, the crowd going nuts like someone just scored a touchdown at the Super Bowl all *through* the KDH performance is a hell of a thing to see hear/see:

A friend's dad grew up with turkeys.

A rain barrel was in their pen. One day, a turkey jumped up to the lip. A 2nd, wanting to see what was there, jumped up and knocked #1 into the water. Repeat until barrel full of drowned turkeys.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy #caturday from Peeps.

Also one of my favorite prints, and maybe one of the few which look good with a orange and teal frame.

Just spent a few minutes as a ferret decorating dad's house (and car) with lights.

Cute lil game.

After a bit of mulling, I think it's because 'fell' (down) contrasts with 'erupted' (up) even though I doubt I could come up with this if I were writing it.
Re-reading Tainted Cup and noticed something interesting - I can't recall dawn ever 'falling' before, it's always risen.

Read this last night and still mulling it over.

As long as you don't try to eat it, you should be fine.

Found this old magazine interview with Cocteau Twins, circa Blue Bell Knoll, by Paul Trynka. International Musician & Recording World Nov 88.

If anyone wants to know some of the tech they used, it's in there.

Love this speech, Richard E Grant at his Richard E Grandest.

Still relevant. "They're entitled to any advancement technology brings."

Just picked this up, as it's set in Washington, and I loved HEX.

Days are definitely darker here now. Hard to get out of bed when it's still pitch black.
Look what just arrived! The latest novel by Thomas Olde Heuvelt. I can't wait to dive in. (Also, I've been told that I *may* be a character in the book. I hope I don't come to an unfortunate end 🙃).

AI nightmare.
This woman is in a nursing program & the entire textbook for her anatomy class is wrong because it was written by a professor who used chatgpt to generate the images & possibly the text. She complained to the prof, then the university— they’ve done NOTHING about it.
