I know it's so profoundly painful but please never forget that Palestinians continue to suffer in the genocide being committed in our name since October, 2023.

I think Paul Dano is a seriously under appreciated actor, honestly. He has something quite rare, which is the sheen of a polite dad over a well of rage and grief. I believe his gentleness losing to his worse angels every time. But subtlety and emotional depth is…not in everyone’s wheelhouse.

I have a real soft spot for old typewriters. I got my first portable typewriter in the early 1980s and taught myself to type on it. Even back then, I was writing science fiction stories. Then at uni, I changed to a heavy model not dissimilar to the one pictured, on which I did all my coursework.
