I love feeding the birds, but, how do you stop the rats? I have not started feeding yet this winter as last year the rats became a problem.

What an interesting thread. We are big book buyers and readers. Do sometimes wonder what to do with our library when we are dead. When we moved from Bedford to Ireland we donated all our children's books to the local school. And what happens to all the ebooks I have. Partner frowns on such things!

Another reason to resist importing food from the USA,oh and not to travel there because you would not know what you are eating, oh and as a foreigner I might get detained for being anti your "king". What will all that is happening do to your tourist industry?

Ours is a family where the third generation is now cooking from scratch, and it doesn't have to be so time consuming, the slow cooker is a wonderful invention for those working long hours. When I started out there were not many UPFs available.

Got 8 of 8. Always been a label reader. Of an age where I learnt to cook from fresh ingredients, and yes I do eat a couple of things that are UPFs, marmite being one☹️
