1/3 I think MAGAts took the small fire that was the Epstein case and convinced their followers it was a raging inferno for political reasons. And now they have to explain why they aren't trying to put out the pretend fire.

TBH, I don't see a "MAGA civil war" over the Epstein files. It's more an example of how long it takes to turn around a massive ship when it has momentum. They'll turn it around eventually and people will lose any sense of urgency, remembering whatever is convenient and discarding the rest.

I don't understand Captain America 4. It is very slow and unexciting. I'm on my second watching but I have to do it in parts. The movie literally puts me to sleep.

Costco now has refrigerated ramen bowls, just add water and microwave for 4 minutes. It will never be as good as the real stuff but its better than instant and takes about the same time to make. It's a little more fresh and crisp than a really good canned soup would be. The veg was not mushy at all.

Crappy AI is drastically changing the work/reward ratio on doom scrolling YouTube. YouTube and BlueSky are my preferred social media but BlueSky has tools that keep the hit rate up.

My periodic rant that if Idiocracy were about a specific ethnic group then it would be indistinguishable from Nazi propaganda, but since it is about poor people in general then it is somehow acceptable. "They" are inferior but breed like rabbits. "They" will replace "us" and destroy what "we" built
