American. Anti-Fascist. Patriot ready to take down treason. Let’s get this party started.
THIS is a proper headline.

Illinois Gov. Pritzker ahead of Trump National Guard deployment:

"To Chicagoans... Look out for your communities and your neighbours. Know your rights. Film things that you see happening... Authoritarians thrive on your silence. Be loud for America."

"When experts talk about competitive authoritarianism, they are usually referring to countries like Hungary and Turkey. A leader is elected in a more or less democratic system — and then starts to work to break the democracy that put them in power."

We've seen this playbook in the darkest days of history: Dictators targeting independent journalists and dissenting views — using power and threats to silence those who tell the truth.

Today it's WSJ, AP, NPR, Colbert. Who's next?

We must resist together or we will fall apart.
White House removes Wall Street Journal from Scotland press pool over Epstein bombshell
A White House spokesperson declined to comment on if the Journal would be included in the pool in the future, either on the White House campus or on subsequent trips.

We just went through a half-decade of sham censorship hearings in Congress, but it certainly seems like the government forced a comedian to get fired as a bribe to ensure a merger goes through.

Is that true? Let's have a hearing and find out.
I think like many, many people I find the idea that CBS has just cancelled Colbert out of the blue like this for financial reasons *highly* implausible. He’s the most viewed late night host on TV, and his ratings have been going up.
NEW YORK (AP) — Stephen Colbert tells studio audience CBS is canceling 'The Late Show,' to end in May 2026.

Passing this crap will lead to economic devastation and destruction of the dollar.
Another day, and Trump still ain’t released those Epstein files.

Another day of Republicans stopping all business on the House floor because they can’t get their shit together.

They’ve had this vote open for over 4 hours. This is dysfunction at its finest.

Let that sink in, an entire university is treating immigration enforcement like a public health crisis.

There will now be 10,000 new ICE agents & 100,000 new detention beds--and few safeguards protecting people from constitutional violations by the feds.

Time for states to pass laws allowing people to sue fed agents. Read about it these "converse-1983" statutes here: papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers....

I don’t know how else to say this, as a person who has studied cults (wrote a bestseller about it) and totalitarian states.

Everything is a “redistribution of wealth” — the only question is which direction it’s heading in.

Stop letting them convince you the only valid direction is from the bottom to the top. They’ve been selling that snake oil for decades.

Have been saying this a while over whole young candidates vs. older. Age doesn’t matter. Attitude & motivations do. (Although 75+ is ridiculous.) If you’re running for wrong reasons &/or are too cowardly to fight, you’re worthless. In Congress, a lot of Dems signal they didn’t sign up for “this”. 😤

Damn‼️ Federal agents blew a door off for this?

Federal agents blasted their way into an LA home where Jenny Ramirez lives with her boyfriend and two kids.

She heard the blast while checking on her 6-year-old, with her 1-year-old in her arms.

Ramirez says everyone in the home is a U.S. citizen.
