I esp feel this bc my triggers can often relate to whether or not a victim is allowed agency hence why I’ve found some exploitation films therapeutic rather than triggering. Also the thing with proper trigger warnings is allowing ppl to self determine with understanding that it’s nuanced

A lot of librarians and library programs try to work against those structural inequalities but that doesn’t mean every library is automatically good at putting that into actual practice

Not to even mention how the library is like a lot of educational institutions in that while there have been progressives who want to use it to uplift poor and marginalized ppl, it is still an institution that has relied on structurally racist and classist views.

Look I’m a proud library worker and excited about becoming a librarian but also ppl have a universal idea of library access that just isn’t a reality for many places and it is made worse that online library discourse usually imagines U.S. bigger city libraries

I don’t hate this season like I did last season of the boys mostly bc there’s not weird use of SA for jokes but woof it is just jumping all over the place and the main plot lines are pretty rough by themselves
