a toastbug of the FEY FLY type is too small to see without a microscope, yet it seems an individual can grow into any one of the three macroscopic types under the correct circumstances, and even develop royal traits... there appears to be no clear upper limit when it comes to increasing scale 🔬 🔭

i will say there was an element of royal succession in the mix, with a new king ascending, presumably to start a new hive elsewhere... perhaps i only caught a glimpse as he departed 🤔

i wanted to include this as a follow-up note but was having a hard time describing it... multiple overlapping negative intervals 👀 💦
