I'm a bit of a traditionalist with my tree - I don't like coloured lights, and the decorations are all either red, gold, silver, white, or a mix of all, with tiny exceptions (there's a small collection of gingerbread-related decorations what have other colours on them).

Home after a lovely afternoon at the Frankfurt Weihnachtsmarkt, and we only got rained on as we walked home from the S-Bahn station. The stalls and the different areas never fail to make us "ooh" and "aah", and obviously, the whole ambience changes once it gets dark. Plenty of tourists there, too!

I started visiting 🇩🇪 with regularity in 2000, and this country is entirely to blame for my paper napkin obsession!! Every visit, I'd go home, with multiple packs of serviettes. Then I bought more in the UK. Now I live in 🇩🇪, and the collection has grown ever larger! Am I the only idiot who does this?

Self-care is very important, especially at this of year, and so I stocked up on this year's 'Flu vax and Covid booster. I suffer with chronic illnesses, so it's important for me to stay up-to-date with my vax regime, especially after my healthy younger brother spent last week in hospital with 'Flu A
