Steven from Lightning Rod Games. I’m mostly trying to add games industry mutuals right now.
It depends if you need to pull them over the right leg of your baggy jeans

Neither of them have that “filmed in Canada” vibe though

The Boys films a lot in Toronto and some scenes are recognizable as my street. What We Do In The Shadows as well (same street). Though I don’t recognize as many of their sets.

I can hear all of them

I looked forward to that every year! They were world-class shows, and so much of the city enjoyed them. The sky train took forever after the show because so much of the city was out to see them. This is a shame.

I’ve heard some teachers buy bootleg sticker packs as rewards and don’t carefully look at them when giving them out.

That part sucks for us. I don’t think the article backs up its connection between smartphones and productivity, but it’s interesting to hear that people are hanging onto devices longer.

Their argument feels fishy. That study by the fed doesn’t seem like it applies very much to smartphones. Servers, and desktop machines used to process data or host applications can make a big impact on work speed and stability. Phones, not so much. My 5yo phone isn’t a bottleneck.

We always let people know already (because OMG why would you leave them hanging!?) but it’s good to know that it’s the law. Looks like there’s some language in there about maintaining job postings too.

(That is a reference. The pie looks good. 😆)

Godspeed. Post pics.

I somehow missed that, and you just blew my mind. I never would have guessed due to the amount of subtext. I thought he was braver than that 😆

Saw it this year and was impressed. Oh, also if you like Fangoria, check out their book kickstarter. It's almost over.

I'm sure he's doing time-critical police work that absolutely requires he take his eyes off the road for long stretches of time. 😜

It's "consensus" not "orthodoxy".

"Deeds speak" indeed.

How does someone give an answer like that!? Is that media-training gone awry? Like “never under any circumstances acknowledge something purely as a problem”???

I missed the announcement. So glad I saw this now!
November 21, 2025 at 6:29 PM
I'm in.
