some events i've seen using it (and openly stating so!!) for games list teasers and event promo images, some events i've seen use it to have custom background music in between runs - idk all around just. feels very bleh to me, especially when the people willing to help are Right There

yeah, if i had to sneak a guess it's likely partly bc the japanese internet is much slower to push back against corporations, higher-ups, and quote-end-quote "capitalist" concepts just as a whole

i will mention i have also seen artists vehemently stanced against it though, so it defo isn't everyone
