I’ve banged this gong many times, but “Kingsman” is one of the very few films to accurately diagnose our current moment, in which aw-shucks McDonalds-eating tech billionaires see the writing on the wall re: climate change and want the lower classes fighting each other instead of them.

Let's be clear.
He did horrible things.
He also wrote some wonderful things.
He did horrible fucking things.
He is also human.
Dehumanizing predators, & pretending they are incapable of creating anything good gives us false comfort that they are easy to spot and surely you'd know if you knew one.
