the Jo Malone collab is generally the best of the Zara fragrances, but this one really hit it out of the park as a fragrance that develops as it dries down and doesn't have the cloying synthetic quality Zara can tend toward. easily the best fragrance I've gotten there

some systems give bright spring charcoal and some greys, which I do not personally totally agree with, though there are people who lean closer to bright winter who can pull them off where others who lean closer to true spring (carmen's case) who don't

Just got done reviewing a really fun and less common palette result with @carmbern.bsky.social (spoiler alert: she's a bright spring) going over practical applications and clarifying a little bit of the overwhelming first impressions it can give. Color analysis is fun!!!!!

Begging Portuguese editors to stop cutting up sentences for length and leaving dependent clauses on their own as if they were full sentences. Begging Portuguese authors to stop writing sentences that are paragraph-length to the point this is necessary (impossible)

Something about French people coopting tacos and turning it into basically a glorified crunch wrap (which is always tacos with an s for them) doesn't sit right with me
