I’m a bit of a coffee snob but even I have a Nescafé instant coffee on occasion so I can see the appeal.

I don’t care about my reading data so I think that’s another reason I’m not that interested in SG.

Honestly my Storygraph is collecting cobwebs. I’ve tried to use but I always forget to update it because most of my reading automatically syncs with GR.

My have a cable subscription with Spectrum (it used to be called the Spectrum Silver package) and it provides access to HBO Max, Hulu , Disney+, AMC+, Peacock, Paramount+, ESPN, and a few other streaming apps.

I think some folks complain because it’s rage bait and they’ll get engagement on those posts.

I find it annoying when folks complain about people reading 100+ books per year. They need to let people read at the pace they prefer and focus on themselves. I consistently read over 200+ books per year and I’m sick of the haters.

I definitely agree about the stance being out of touch. I don’t see anti Blackness over here as passive aggressive in NYC because despite being a bastion of progressiveness it is extremely segregated and the disenfranchisement of many areas is glaring obvious.

I noticed it acutely in m/m sports romances where there are not many basketball romances. I think Kit Grey is one of the few authors writing m/m romances with Black MMCs who are basketball players.
