I have friend who lives in the Netherlands who is getting married next year. I finally booked my flight so it’s real lol. Hotel isn’t booked yet but the wedding is next summer so I have some time. Anyone have tips on cool things to do out there I’ll be there for a week in June.

Went to the Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall with the folks! It was awesome! It was our first time attending.

When you take a slight nap on the way to work and miss your subway stop 😭. My stop for work is the last stop of the train and when I opened my eyes it was already heading back towards Queens. Luckily I noticed and got off at the next stop.

There have been replies to the post that have some authors saying, "I don't care how bad it gets; I am never leaving." And I love that for you; however, you are missing the point of this post.
You should be concerned about the rate of authors leaving publishing. Especially from marginalized communities. This year I have seen so many authors just pack it up and go. And it's only getting worse.

Yesterday was a hectic day at work. I was in the field and I was blindsided by an unexpected issue. I was able to resolve it but after the fact I found out my supervisor was notified that this issue existed and he did not give me a heads up. (I work in tech and it was equipment related)
