The cat is out of the box! If you use AI the official MCP is a must have. Try it out and if there's something that the AI still gets wrong please open an issue on

github.com/sveltejs/mcp...

And btw... it's obviously open source (using TMCP 🤟🏻)

Let us know how it goes! 🧡

I've been working on an open-source agentic SQL assistant (think Claude Code but for SQL)

It autonomously gathers context about your database and writes SQL to generate insights

🧠 Building AI software? Your biggest risk isn't the code, it's trust calibration! When users over-trust your AI, disasters happen. When they under-trust, potential dies. The sweet spot? It's more nuanced than you think.

The goal here is to make these relocatable Python builds as robust as possible.

If you run into behaviors or errors that you don't see when installing Python from another source, file an issue!

Last week I focused on addressing quirks in python-build-standalone and fixing the common pain points with uv-installed Pythons.

For example: if you've ever run into this tkinter error, it's now fixed.
