As someone on the next island over, could do without the UK going gung-ho for Schengen and thus just by default ensuring we have to join as well due to the CTA & NI. My problem isn't Schengen per se, it's the being dragged around by Britain whenever it takes a notion. -.-

I've saud this before, but it bears repeating - when Harris was picked as the nominee, it was just assumed that her running mate HAD to be a white guy, whether or not they were the best fit - because otherwise the white guys would be upset. And yet Tim Walz wasn't considered "DEI".

Along with *all* the rest of it (which I directed at some length at this Stephens eejit), we do not have *A* "European heritage". We're a whole bunch of different countries & cultures and our relationships have mostly been killing each other.

The solvents are usually alcohols but various brands (sharpie included) also use organics like xylene, toluene and a couple others that won't do you any good at all. They're what makes them smell so distinctive.

Hell, it's pretty well-known that after disaster, poor countries could expect hunger, hardship and religious Americans showing up to offer to buy their kids.

Uh, the history of child adoption from abroad in particular in the US...yes, there has been a lot of child trafficking. Hell, many in my country would like to know what happened to the approx 2000 Irish children the Church sold to the US between the 1940s-70s. And it's definitely not the only one.
