On Labor Day, we recognize all the workers who haven’t just fought for fair wages and safe conditions — they’ve stood on the frontlines against fascism and oppression. Unions have always been the biggest defenders of democracy. So proud to stand with them today and every day.

Like so many House Republicans, Darrell Issa hasn’t been showing up and listening to his constituents — so I did. So glad I got to spend the day with hundreds of fired up people in Escondido who are fighting for a better, stronger democracy.
