For her first birthday I got the puppy a bed a cat peed on and was about to be thrown away and she Could. Not. Be. Happier.

We are on to set potato pie and cranberry jelly (jelly credit goes to @neolithicsheep.bsky.social). Critical infrastructural support provided by Poppy the puppy, who got to eat her first sweet potato skin.

All household activity has ground to a halt because the 15 year old cat has fallen asleep under a snuggly blanket with her head pillowed on a human arm.

One year ago today I was taking pictures of the beautiful New Mexico mountains at @catrambo.bsky.social's Wayward Wormhole. It was a great experience full of learning, reflection, and a WhatsApp group chat that persists to this day. Really looking forward to WW2026 in February.

@neolithicsheep.bsky.social riled the puppy up right before bedtime so I shut her in the bathroom with him as a punishment (for him), and they've kind of been in there for awhile and I overheard him reading the labels on my expensive skincare to her and then I received this picture via text
