Artists, writers, etc: does your cat insist on being held while you work? My garbage son Toki does. Most of my comics are drawn with him cradled in my non-drawing arm.

Sheila did it! She made a chrysalis last night!! I took it out to photograph but put her safely back in her terrarium. No idea how long this stage will last, but I think a week or two is normal?

Sheila the caterpillar has been doing well, plowing through my parsley and frassing all over the place. Yesterday she stopped eating and took up this position- the photos are awful, but I don’t want to move the terrarium and disturb her. I think this means she might be ready to make a chrysalis?

Sheila (we have named the caterpillar Sheila) molted out of their skin last night and then ate it! Gross! Then they ate a bunch of parsley. Turned up their nose at the fresh dill I offered. Still barely 2 inches long.
