From a legal perspective, very worrisome. Omnibus shouldn’t be used this way. From a content perspective: mixed feelings. There was a lot of confusion with companies and the burden is serious. But reporting has value, and they need a level playing field. Excluding SMEs distorts competition too.
Orban is both pushed to diversify energy away from Russia, but gets a diplomatic victory from Trump for being both illiberals. Should we be happy or concerned?

Great piece about the need to reform multilateral diplomacy. It’s been a success and it’s not really replacement, rather adding a new layer. Multilateralism is solving issues between nations, but planetary issues aren’t between nations. They need a different approach.
