This is for coverage with Covered California or other "ACA Marketplace" programs across the US. To qualify for a "special enrollment period" you have to have a HIPAA qualifying event like birth of a child, marriage, divorce, loss of existing insurance coverage. "Too expensive" is not a qualifier.
📢 Open enrollment ends today, Dec. 15th, for health coverage starting Jan. 1.
For coverage beginning Feb. 1, individuals have until Jan. 15th.
After the Jan. 15th deadline, people will have to wait until November, unless they qualify for a special enrollment period.

I asked the same thing! I saw RFK Jr. speak at a medical convention in 2007. He taught us all something we did not know about how Medical Waste affects the environment. Many changes to start to protect the environment from Medical Waste were made because of what we learned at that conference.
