Frodo survived his surgery! Thank you, thank you thank you everyone for your support. He's not out of the woods, he needs to get back to eating on his own, but he's here and wanted his morning snuggles! My heart is whole again. ❤️❤️❤️

But the mass on his neck, scabbed over, bleeding and now looking infected, I know it has to be done. He's strong, but dealing with this has weakened him. I know it might sound odd to ppl, how much I love him and am attached to him, but he is my world. Pls send positive energy.

Plans have changed again. Frodo is going in for his surgery tomorrow. I have to drive through a snow storm to get him there first thing in the morning. I'm terrified this will be my last day with him as I know the surgery is very risky for him.

The blood work is back. Frodo's kidneys are still within the range for surgery, but his heart may be a problem. He needs to go for further testing to treat it properly before surgery so, it has been delayed. I know once he gets past this, he still has a lot of life left in him.
