Can't tell you how many "Who's Who" vanity press type "Best New Writer/Artist" scam books I am "honored" to be in... and i can get a copy of them for only about $150 or so each.
The writer/poetry ones will even include a one-page poem or (very) short story, with a scant fee for typesetting. 🙄

I am called to mind when early paleontologists would assemble dinosaur skeletons...poorly... because they knew what the parts might be, but not how they were attached to an actual body.
That's the vibe I get here.
The "artist" knew the bits... just not how or where they connect.

Have them invisibly watch "their kids" in action.
Maybe a double team-up with the most active ghosts from Marvel and DC: DEADMAN and...uh... BENJAMIN FRANKLIN? (He actually might be Marvel's).
THEN, they can explore each other's bodies.

If anyone looks at that line work and doesn't see Michael Golden all over the clothing frills and drapery, and that house page... they are blind.
He was very influenced by this type of art, and now it's a chicken and the egg type thing determining from which later artists take inspiration.
