I hardly ever post about new DOCTOR STRANGE items curated for my collection anymore; just no time.

But since these arrived recently and are kind of "a set", I'll post them.

From FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD SPIDER-MAN animated series:

FUNKO POP # 1532
& both:
the COMMON (color) & UNCOMMON (B/W)
FIGPINs

I am called to mind when early paleontologists would assemble dinosaur skeletons...poorly... because they knew what the parts might be, but not how they were attached to an actual body.

That's the vibe I get here.
The "artist" knew the bits... just not how or where they connect.

I don't think Bozo's feet were really that big. Pretty sure it's just the shoes. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Going into 2026 like...

I want to go back to my OG set-up:

Phone: Star Trek communicator Walkie-talkies

Computer: Odyssey2 and Commodore 64.

If you see this, we IMPLORE YOU to post a picture from whatever device you're using without explanation.

Look in the attic or crawlspace.
You never know.

Yes, BUT, that's not this iteration.

This is the 1969-1971 animated series, which also had a live "real" band attached to it.

You're referring to the 1977 series, which, in its 2nd series, joined into a shared hourly program with NANCY DREW MYSTERIES.

I watched, and enjoyed, all of those shows.

The absolute WEIRDEST aspect of this cover isn't that artist Jackson Guice 100% pasted a photocopy from the cover to AMY GRANT: THE COLLECTION album.
No.
It's that those 2, ridiculously small dots (under the feet of the other characters) are supposed to be VAMPIRE BITES on her neck!
A vampire MOUSE?

That is SO Trimpe!
Every character and the details in the van... looks like those all jumped out of a 1970s issue of THE HULK.

It wasn't long ago that I found that THIS👇 3D poster of the DYNAMITE DUO (from DYNAMITE Magazine) was also a Trimpe piece. It's been a fave since I was a kid.

Nostalgia ALMOST got me.
Came across this Spider-Man 1977 MARVEL LEGENDS figure today, based on the 1977 TV show & movie starring Nicholas Hammond.

That's my favorite live-action Spidey, so I was sorely tempted.

But not "almost $30" tempted.

I mean...I MIGHT pay that for a 1978 DR. STRANGE.

The single greatest role-model attribute would have to be:
Being able to write ANYTHING with 7 kids.

I've got 4 cats & can barely find time to write a limerick!

...But will explore the "DARK DIMENSION" of UMAR. Repeatedly.

[In best Bugs Bunny speaking to an Irish Cop voice]

"Well, he's not in these two comics, that feature him on the covers..."

And here I am having JUST poured myself a glass of milk*.

*ha ha! Joke's on you, Byrne!
I drink Almond milk.

Mandrake the Magician
The very FIRST (American) superhero.

(With powers, origin, supporting cast, headquarters, and physical appearance all very close to what Doctor Strange would have 30+ years later)

Today's DOCTOR STRANGE garment:

This T-shirt with the cover to the album: THE MADCAP LAUGHS by SYD BARRETT.

This shirt was seen on Benedict Cumberbatch in the 2016 DOCTOR STRANGE movie.

Another "6-Dimensions of Dr Strange" item, but there's more to it than that...

They should have had, in the background of every variant cover to this, ETERNITY (Marvel) knocking boots with KISMET (DC).

That would have raised sales.

Re-enact your favorite CORNER BOX ACTION!

There's a Retro Legends BEAST figure that comes with a white lab coat.

Steal his, and if it's too small for Hulk, you can rip the seams a little as if he's Hulking out.

Well, the BEATLES *were* "the future". Everyone just copied their trend.

Dang.
I've no need for "another" RED SHE-HULK.

I have the older one, and while an inferior sculpt, she is fine for my needs.

THIS NEW ONE, while nicer, just isn't right.

I ONLY need her due to being on THE DEFENDERS, tho that team never existed in the end.
So, she's not crucial.

But, WANT this.

Today's DOCTOR STRANGE garment:

Carrying on with the "6-Dimensions of DR.STRANGE" riff, here's yet another MAN-THING shirt.
The logo of GIANT-SIZE MAN-THING!

And yet... it's not!

You see, this layout & color scheme NEVER crossed the cover of G-S M-T.
