Editing a video inspired by @petronious.bsky.social's recent video on his setup and an even earlier video from @jon.gvg.io on his setup. Hardware, software, playing on the CRT while capturing on the PC (with light gun support), charts, the lot! There's also a surprising use of an Xbox One S in it.

Small progress update for Crisis Island. I've fixed some more bugs this morning.
1. Under certain circumstances, players couldn't skip cutscenes.
2. Exiting the Options menu a certain way didn't restore player control.
3. I finally fixed the voice and sound effects volume sliders!

Now I don't feel like reheated death, I played about an hour of Sonic Rumble.
It's quite fun. Could see it being a decent time over Discord with some friends.
Very much free-to-play with multiple currencies and passes, but eh, I can largely ignore that.

Is there any chance of us still seeing a Metroid Prime 2 and 3 Remastered, or are Nintendo seriously expecting most people to jump straight from Prime 1 to Prime 4?
Needs be, I have Prime Trilogy on Wii and can play that to get caught up, but most of their audience can't do that.

Tested each disc colour and type (Tekken 3, black PS1 CD, Tekken Tag, blue PS2 CD, Tekken 4, silver PS2 DVD) and it passed.
(Yeah yeah, HDD mods are easy to install, but I have a huge disc library and I'm going to use it!)
Let's hope this one will be good for a few years to come!

Ordered a replacement PS2 (the disc drive on mine finally died) and wow, this is a clean PlayStation! They weren't kidding when they advertised this as serviced, refurbished and renewed. Look how spotless that rear fan is!

Also worth mentioning this Dreamcast puts out perfect video when connected to modern displays via the Kaico HDMI.

Anyone had a near black image with only faint outlines visible when using SCART cables for PAL Dreamcasts? I thought the issue was my cable, so I bought a new one, but that does the same thing. This CRT works flawlessly with all my of my other systems via SCART in both 50Hz and 60Hz.

Just laid out the OC trading cards from people I met at @sonicconuk.com this weekend (great idea for introductions and conversation starters) and realised I have 53 of them! 😮
They look great! Seeing everyone's OCs like this is really cool.
