I feel like the Paul Rudish shorts actually did this successfully! They are absolutely my favorite take on the character. And Tres Comas "This Guy Fucks" does an unbelievably good job with cooking up something just new enough for the voice.

I suspect that, if they didn't need the OG Excelsior for visual continuity on Flashback, they would have continued using the Ent-B/Lakota modified model whenever they needed an Excelsior. But the Jein model was significantly easier to film with, so they never bothered and eventually auctioned it off

The alterations were intended to be reversible, but they later found they could not revert the model without damaging it beyond repair. Greg Jein built a new original Excelsior model at a smaller scale when one was needed for Voyager's "Flashback".

I hate what they did to the Excelsior filming model! I understand it, but I hate it!

If I ever want to piss off my wife, I only have to sing a few seconds worth and it's stuck in her head for a week.

Joke's on me, it's been stuck in my head (along with Yodobashi Camera's theme song) for over a decade.

A single nuclear warhead, of unknown origin, is heading toward the U.S. mainland in Kathryn Bigelow's new Netflix film. It's an unnerving scenario — but it's also thrilling to watch. n.pr/48przga

I still like them, but in the US they were reformulated when they were sold to Ferrara in 2018, and I don't think they're as good. I miss Nestlé Butterfingers.

Don't spam my posts with likes. Midjourney doesn't make art and the implication that it does is offensive. It makes slop.
