I think, it's good to get external boosts from other artists, especially if you're feeling low.
But it's also good to fake confidence to a degree, if the aim is to shift from almost a habit of feeling low to a habit of being more positive.

Energy prices up, computer part prices up, an unneeded ecological cost, digital 'sweatshops' are used to label AI data, it's theft on an industrial scale, illegal material made it into datasets, it deskills you, it's bubbling economies, it threatens jobs, it's pushing disinfo.

Worth it 'cause fun?

Most of 'em feel so *bad* to me. IG's always been a joke for not allowing multiple image sizes on a batch upload (!), Twitter's a cesspool, Threads... feels bizarre any time I look in. FB's probably the 2nd best (!) but I'm only really active on Bsky nowadays. It's much nicer here, despite the mods.
