Disciple of Jesus, Husband, Dad and car nut. Industrial Designer by training, but I've spent 25+ years doing design engineering.
My intended daily, a 1991 Stealth Twin Turbo. Instead it's been laid up for at least half of the 12 months I've owned it.

My long neglected 1960 Thunderbird. Hopefully 2026 will allow me to give it some love.

My reliable backup 340K mile 2001 Tundra.

Also watching, but comfortably from across the room from the windows.

Just laying his head down, little lower profile.

Don't worry, he can still see if anything happens. He's got this.

A new friend in my driveway!

Asked him how he liked the new truck and he said "It's okay. A lot better than the old ones."

Is that the 1985 Saab EV-1 concept behind the Beetle? Seems like it?

Civic Si.

A bit larger, but still small, fun, manual reasonably efficient.

Find an Energy Green 2 door for extra visibility.

I highly recommend this small, hardcover book on the fantastic Art Fitzpatrick and Van Kaufman.

One of the only ad artists permitted to sign their work. One did the cars, the other the backgrounds. They worked in different cities and sent the paintings through the mail.

Same. I tried to convince my wife to get our CR-V in the gorgeous Still Night Pearl, but she wanted the Urban Gray Pearl. Nice too, but that blue...

I had one of these Tonka metal Surrey Jeeps as a kid. It was a "grandma's house" toy, no idea what happened to it.

Sold for $25K. Less than half of that Defender. 😄

I quit playing the UK version because it was frequently oddly specific.

If you want an obscure vehicle powered by unobtainable fuel, you need a fuel cell CR-V. Plus, fantastic pearl paint.

I wanted to get all the way to the corner, but the thinset was setting up.

I've got another wall almost the same that I haven't even started.

Our first date was "What About Bob."
December 12, 2025 at 5:22 PM
When we first met, she had no car. Some of our first "dates" were car shopping. She insisted on getting a stick, which, ironically, she wants nothing to do with today.

She bought this 5 speed 1988 Chevy Nova in the spring of 1992.

We were engaged on Halloween and married the following February.

The ZX2 you want is the S/R.

A ZX2 with a bunch of tuner parts bolted on.

In Ohio we can run vintage year of manufacture plates. I scored a nearly mint set of 1960 plates for my Thunderbird on ebay years ago.
