She was also one of the easiest dogs ever to train, and I can only think of one time we refreshed her training.
She picked up concepts really well. She learned 'Leave it' in 3-4 repititions. She never chewed up a shoe, or one of the kids toys. She just...always understood the assignment.

First full day without her, and the family is passing pictures of her around, and I look at these pics when she was still really young and Bailey was just a damned gorgeous dog.
Even as she got old and grey, she carried herself with a lot of dignity and derpy purpose.

Our Derp Queen Bailey...died peacefully in our kitchen around Noon today.
We came home to the stark realization she wasn't sniffing at the door as we keyed it open and broke down.
Anyway, she was just a silly old derpy dog, but we loved her and she will be missed. She was a damned good dog.

I've been kind of a wreck off and on all day.
She's in pretty rough shape, but she's going into the vet tomorrow afternoon.

But...it's clear now she's not good.
This just sucks tho. She's our dog...and she's been amazing. Patient with the kids, and protective of the family.

When I get tired or exhausted from ... well ... everything. I just close Bluesky and tune the fuck out of everything. I fire up a game, or a movie. Not having the Bluesky/etc app on my phone helps a lot. I've moved away from *constant* reminders, notifications, etc.

When I get tired or exhausted from ... well ... everything. I just close Bluesky and tune the fuck out of everything. I fire up a game, or a movie. Not having the Bluesky/etc app on my phone helps a lot. I've moved away from *constant* reminders, notifications, etc.

Updated my system to the latest Bazzite/Fedora 43 and KDE Plasma 6.5.1.
The real test of any Linux system geared toward users/daily drivers is how clean and simple the update process is.
Bazzite just passed this one with flying colors.
The only hiccup? Had to reinstall/update my weather widget.
