This is a very personal fundraiser for me. KoRoot was there for me in 2022 when I tried to find birth family & answers. They gave me a place to stay. They listened and offered kindness. They gave hugs and emotional support. They helped me figure out the transportation and how to get COVID tested. +
KoRoot’s initiatives include interpreting old documents, assisting adoptees during their visits to South Korea, supporting the rebuilding of relationships, and advocating for adoptees and families involved in the adoption process.

I am not a huge football fan, but watching the Eagles sack MAGA-MFer Mahomes, feeling Batiste’s rendition of the anthem in my soul, seeing an American flag made up of incredible Black dancers, and watching the Pulitzer Prize winning Kendrick Lamar …. This really feels like resistance in pop culture.
