i have recently read threads of people saying that they used an xfinity mobile registered sim card and it worked with grapheneos though so i may just try it. not with graphene but just rooting the stock rom because pixels are somewhat horseshit free comparatively

i got this pixel to root it and toy around with it but i realized i'm scared to do that on a phone using my parents' cellular plan (i would pay for my own but this is literally free bc we are forced to use comcast for our internet at home) and also i just really do not care abt android i realized

from what i hear this is a lot more workable on modern android because of the gpu accelerated linux terminal that they've implemented as part of getting android to feature parity with chromeos so they can finally kill it but my pixel 4a 5g did not get updated up to that :\

if i can't have a mobile computer in my pocket that i can plug into a docking setup and use like a full linux computer i want something as bare and essentials-only as possible. i only live at extremes with technology

i have a bathroom connected to my bedroom (it's the original bathroom of the house it's just been remodeled to also connect to a different part of the house) and i really wish i didn't. if i could pay for it i would have it replaced with a wall right now, i hate it that much
