This weekend I passed the Life in the UK test, clearing my path towards UK citizenship.
There were some difficult questions, especially for people who are not native speakers, such as questions on the UK court system, Henry VIII, Elisabeth I, and the Habeus Corpus Act of 1679.

It's pretty neat that AI can generate images of things like buildings, but also I'm always surprised at how bad AI is at counting.

In the UK, everyone cooks the same meal every Sunday — a traditional Sunday roast.
Then they cook the same meal for Christmas, but they swap out chicken with turkey, and add brussels sprouts and figgy pudding.
I decided to change things up this year, and to not cook a traditional holiday meal.
