We have a proud history of keeping Milwaukee's lakefront public and developing it in the public good -- we need to return to it. Instead, this is a once-in-a-generation opportunity that's being squandered. (4/5)

In talking to folks in my district, it's clear the DOT’s options aren't adequate. I'm opposed to rebuilding I-794 unless there's a compelling plan that benefits the people of Milwaukee, not private, for-profit developers. (3/5)

Milwaukee is facing a housing and rent crisis.

We should be looking at any available land downtown as an opportunity to build public housing, social housing and green space. Sadly, we aren't doing that. (2/5)

However no amount of individual charity or mutual aid will be enough to keep many people from going hungry. We need state level Republicans to come to the table and release some of the $4.6 billion state surplus funds to provide relief.

If you have the capacity donate food or better yet money to a local food pantry, please do.

We also want to uplift these clear statements of opposition to AB 446 from Congresswoman Gwen S. Moore and Congressman Mark Pocan, representing the Milwaukee and Madison areas respectively. (3/4)

It’s because of their efforts, and their words, that the committee saw overwhelming opposition to this weaponization of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s flawed working definition of antisemitism. (2/4)
