But forestry isn’t a net gain for the country either unless more is done to ensure they cleanup after themselves properly and don’t put our communities nearby at risk.

I do worry that these forestry companies don’t do enough. They don’t do nearly enough. Just look at the slash problem and what that does in floods that cost us million and millions and very nearly wiped out entire towns.
They need to do more. Around fire and slash.
