Let me introduce myself. First, the pets: Winnie the collie is a good girl who loves off leash walks in the woods and gets nervous when her humans hug each other.

Willow the burmese has two modes: snuggle and murder.

The lead prosecutor in the Eric Adams case has resigned over DOJ's order that the case be dismissed.

"I expect you will eventually find someone who will be enough of a fool, or enough of a coward, to file your motion. But it was never going to be me."

At Koru, (@korustrategy.bsky.social) we've adopted Expert Panels as an alternative to Focus Groups. We like the approach and want to share. Here's a little article explaining more:

Our Favorite Things: Expert Panels
We've turned Focus Groups into Expert Panels, and love the approach. We hold Expert Panels during needs assessment as a part of strategic planning, in day-long instructional walkthroughs, as an import...

I am so proud of this work and coaching, culminating in California's PBIS platinum and gold awards for these districts. These schools are now happier, safer, more positive places to be due to the efforts of these educators
Proud to spotlight our 5-year partnership with 3 small rural districts in CA: learn how they worked to transform their approach to PBIS, and its impact on school climate and experiences for students and families. Link in comments.

Our work facilitating and coaching is already benefiting from the use of AI tools. Looking forward to sharing more of our learning
Affinity protocols, student panels, generative brainstorming... engaging in deep thinking and making connections are a hallmark of our workshops. We've been using AI as a tool to synthesize, summarize, take notes. We run the tool, the tool doesn't run us. How do you use AI?

People in the theater were furious with me for singing 'Wicked' word for word. To be fair, it was during 'Gladiator II'.

I think I’ll do things differently on here than on the other place. I’m giving myself some projects: First up, over the next week, find 20 founders and builders I don’t yet know who are working on cool stuff 💪

Spent the afternoon at the JFK library. Listened to much of the inaugural address. If you haven’t heard to it lately, you won’t regret another listen. It was a good mental reset: a different expectation for leaders, and us citizens. youtu.be/PEC1C4p0k3E?...

My brother queued up Smashing Pumpkins on a drive and I knew every word despite not having listened to it in decades. Also remembered some of the angst I felt at the time. The brain is amazing

This time of year I like to do a health reset to finish the calendar year strong (and navigate holidays). I'm ambitious this year, with a Huberman-inspired diet, sleep, exercise regimen. I'm also putting more into my spirit - journaling, prayer, quiet. Anyone else working on a reset?

Productivity tool (and this is a completely unsolicited endorsement): I love Focusmate. If you aren't familiar, you log on, book a session (25, 50 or 75 min), and get matched on video with someone else getting work done. Here's why I like it: 1/6
