Right from the jump, the movie is telling us that we can’t tell the good guys from the bad, and nothing is what it seems. Truly brilliant way to kick off a great f*ing film. (3/3)

When we’re following that helicopter into Antarctica, our assumption, based on cinematic conventions, is that it’s carrying our protagonists, our eyes in to this world. But we gradually learn that it’s not – it’s carrying violent, dangerous men about to descend on the actual protagonists. (2/3)
