Am I right thinking that OG Dracula would dominate OG Frankenstein though? It would be a battle between if Drac could manipulate Frank towards some goal (perhaps a real estate scam), or if Frank, having finally met someone who treated him nicely, would be too irritating of a house guest to tolerate

I think people are allowed to change their mind about what they like but they sure do act like they always hated it. Meanwhile it was bouncing around the Nintendo Power top 20 almost every month until they finally stopped tracking NES games in 1994. People liked it!
