not gonna lie, it would be legitimately hilarious if the gop absolutely caved on snap like this because the dems came out and said (correctly, mind you) this was a shit bill, thus duping the gop into thinking they needed to pass it
This deal funds SNAP through the end of next year, right? So starving children would be off the table in a February shutdown fight. Maybe that makes a difference or maybe not.
