"What one man can do, another can do! Say it!!"

Maybe a three-term Mamdani could fix it

I really like this style of subway signage and I'll be bummed when they destroy this. Managed to get the 4 train blowing by in reflection

The Mastermind is gorgeous with really solid performances but, whew, perfectly recreates the tedium of male ennui which makes for a tedious film

I had a chance recently to see some photographs by the French artist François Aubert, who went to Mexico to photograph Maximillian's court. Embarrassed to admit that I was like, "man, utopia deferred would hoot and holler here"

...how is this combination of words rude?

Forgot the camera work, the physicality in this movie is fantastic. Sean Penn's bowleggedness, Benicio del Toro's is a fluid solid, Leo's clowning, Teyana Taylor moves like a downed powerline. Really good time at da movies

I wasn't really connecting with The Boxer from Shantung but then those last 20 minutes are electric—reversed my opinion on the movie

I used to think I was a rookie poster but now I know I'm trying to play tee-ball in the major league

I know it's part of the joke here but song and performance is a hugely underrated tactic in modern organizing in the US. When you do see it, well, "there [are] no marshals, and no one [to lead] freedom songs".

Or in the words of Lisa Simpson: youtu.be/vt5X8zrHiSM?...

Human civilization is built on cabbage. Would love to know what this Pompeii cabbage was:

Maybe Mamdani can channel Wagner here with Operation Shoehorn II. "1,600 more young people—550 here at Hunter—who will be able to play a vastly more useful role in their community, in society, and in their families. Individual lives will be enriched. The City will be enriched."

As long as it includes a Forum and a theater, I think I could relax my opinions on grids

Sanatorium was my first Quay Brothers film. The animation and shot 'magic' is incredible, left my head empty but my heart full. I don't know if I liked it but it's made me want to see more of their work starting with Street of Crocodiles.

Liked Weapons! Don't understand the complaints that it's vague or unfocused. Speaking of unfocused, did not enjoy either Mickey 17 or Mission Impossible as much as I wanted to.

Mahershala Ali and Jonathan Bailey unsurprisingly the best parts of Jurassic World Rebirth. Can we get Ali his own action-adventure franchise already? Something swashbuckly
